Our Story

I’m a connector. The life of the party. The friend that is there for you — or so I’ve been told.
The kind of person who remembers a birthday, remembers the details, and is never too busy for a friend. Making people feel special filled my soul. It was just who I was.
Then life happens.
Last year, I went to a college reunion. It was the first time in 25 years I was actually spending time in person with friends I once called sisters. Women I thought for sure would be in my life forever.
In the weeks leading up to the reunion, we all reconnected over text — the kind of conversations only women who are almost in their 50s (but feel like they’re 30) have. What shoes would be comfortable for a full day of tailgating. What the weather would be like. The things that seem small but are really just an excuse to finally be in each other’s lives again.
That weekend made me realize just how much we had all been through. How much we were all still going through. And how deeply we had felt the absence of our friend Kelly in every step we took around that campus.
Kelly had been sick, and I hadn’t shown up the way I should have. I wasn’t the friend I always thought I was — or had been. That weekend brought it all to the surface. And when I got home to Arizona and my friends headed back to their homes on the East Coast, I wanted to send something to each of them — to show just how meaningful that weekend was and just how deeply I valued our friendship.
A candle felt too small. Flowers would die. A gift card felt like an afterthought. And anything ordered from Amazon said “I remembered at the last minute” more than it said “I cherish you.”
“There was no gift on the market that said what I needed to say. So I built one.”
Around the same time, my daughter’s teacher came to school dressed for the 100th Day of School in a hat from 1890. Still intact. Still beautiful. A quiet proof that we used to make things that lasted — and somewhere along the way, we stopped.
Fast fashion. Throwaway packaging. Disposable everything. It’s not just bad gifting — it’s a pattern that costs the environment, the people who make the things we throw away, and the relationships we mean to honor but never quite do.
“We stopped making things that last. We stopped giving gifts that mean something. Heart Soulful is the correction.”
Heart Soulful is the correction.
Every box is curated around one exceptional piece — chosen for quality, longevity, and the specific person who will receive it. The packaging is deep forest green, closes with a magnet, and opens slowly on purpose. Inside the lid: gold foil. Cream linen lining. And a card that says: “This was chosen. On purpose.”
Heart Soulful is built for the woman who gives endlessly to others and rarely pauses for herself. For the friend you’ve been meaning to call. For the mother who deserves more than a last-minute delivery. For the moment that requires something real.
We are building toward a fully sustainable, eco-conscious, vegan product line — because the way we give should reflect what we believe about the world.
But right now, we’re starting here: with 35 boxes, one launch, and the belief that a gift chosen well can say what words sometimes can’t.
This one is for every friendship that deserves more than we’ve given it.
Don’t wait. Send the gift. Make the call.
