What is modal, and why does it matter?
It is a soft fiber made from wood pulp. It drapes smoothly, breathes well, and holds its shape and color wash after wash, so the set still feels new long after the holidays.
What does the rib knit change?
It gives the fabric more structure, so the set keeps its shape through a long morning instead of going slack. It reads more finished than a plain jersey, which is why it photographs well.
How do I choose the correct size?
Our sleepwear is generously sized for around-the-house comfort. If she is between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
How does it feel against the skin?
Smooth and soft. Modal is one of the gentlest knits to sleep in.
How should it be cared for?
Machine wash cold with regular detergent. Machine dry normal. No bleach, no fabric softener, both of which coat the fibers and dull the softness.
